4NCL - METROPOLITAN CHESS CLUB ROUND 3 & 4
Determined to win at 4NCL, to show the best performance with the available team, the Captain Mr. Charlie gave the team final tips and requested them to show best performance .......and of course, they seem to be worked. The team fought with vengeance.....!!!! Here the report from Mr. Charlie..... about the x-periences of MET team at 4NCL.

Thanks for your efforts. A mixed weekend. On Saturday we crushed Bristol
3 by 5.5/0.5. Unfortunately we were outgraded by Gloucestershire Gambits
and lost 4/2. Overall a satisfactory performance but we now have 1/4 wins
so it looks like we're not strong enough for promotion this year. However,
for each weekend so far we've not been able to put out our strongest team,
so maybe if we can get a run of weekends together with our strongest
players we'll shoot up the table.
Individual scores: George two draws, Chris one win one loss, Petr two wins
(big congratulations), Ian one win one draw, Charlie one win one loss, Siva
one win one loss.
